Hey there! I’m McKenzie.

I am a non-diet dietitian specializing in Intuitive Eating, Eating Disorders, and PCOS. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by diet-culture norms, burdened by weight stigma, or trapped in the whirlwind of ever-changing "wellness diets," you're in the right place. My journey to becoming a non-diet dietitian was driven by a deep desire to free individuals from the shackles of diet culture and empower them to embrace a more intuitive, joyful, and nourishing relationship with food.

In a world that bombards us with unrealistic beauty standards and quick-fix diets, it's all too easy to feel trapped, stressed, and unsure of where to turn when it comes to eating. I'm here to tell you that you're not alone, and there is a way out.

I have experience working in eating disorder treatment, from the residential level to partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, and in the out patient setting. In addition, I have experience providing out patient support for those who want to explore intuitive eating as well as helping individuals with PCOS manage their symptoms. These experiences have allowed me to witness firsthand the struggles that individuals face in a world obsessed with diets, weight loss, and unrealistic beauty standards.

Today, I am honored to guide individuals on their unique paths toward a better understanding of nutritional needs, self-acceptance, and a genuine connection with food through an Intuitive Eat and HAES lens. My mission is to foster a world where diets are replaced with self-compassion, where well-being is not measured by the number on a scale, and where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a nourishing relationship with food.
